Day 1 - Leeds
It's my sisters birthday and although I would have loved to spend it with her i went to Leeds to get ready for going on holiday. I did however spend the afternoon with her and she was just really happy she got an iphone so i guess it didn't matter too much I wasn't there. Arriving at Leeds Ibis hotel I could really feel the excitement about going on holiday with Michelle, early start meant early bed time, still had to learn my LAMDA speeches before I went to bed. Didn't mind too much really.
Day 2 - Flying to Barcelona
The flight was early so we picked up a macdonalds breakfast before we left and it just tastes sooooo good!! We arrived and Tina was unfortunately late because her mum had confiscated her car. So we had to take the train (and there were already pickpockets in sight!) We got to the hostel and it was cute small one that very nice and in the centre of the city so it was easy to go around everywhere, being that Tina and her boyfriends flat is so close. We relaxed for a bit and set off to pick up Tina's sister Polly. We went in Esteve's car with the roof top down and it just felt so good and cool. So hardcore ;). We then ate at this amazing pasta place that I do not know the name of but it's Tina's favourite and I can see why! So yummy! We met up with Esteve and had drinks and went to a shisha place and walked around the city at night. It is so so beautiful, and on this day I went to my favourite site of the whole trip: Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter). Me, becoming a lover of architecture thought the place has so much character. Really brings to life the Catatonic feel. Esteve told us many facts about Spain but me being so tired and daydreaming all the time I've forgotten everything he said... sorry!

Day 3 - Sightseeing!!
We didn't get to see much in Barcelona as our main aim was to see Tina, but we had the opportunity to go to La Sagrada FamÃlia. The funniest part was trying to get a picture with it... on an ipad... This is the best we got to taking it!
I would say it's not bad! Despite our efforts running back and forth..
We then went to Park Güell, which is a unique park designed by Gaudi. It was interesting to know why he built it and how it all came together. There is also a museum filled with his famous buildings and information about them but we didn't get to go. Neither to the 3D museum either. There is the best cupcake place ever in Barcelona!! So delicious and cute at the same time! I don't see that often. Me and Michelle then later had dinner at an Italian restaurant close by. Romantic meal for a married couple ;)
Day 4 - Port Adventura
This was the most action packed day as we ran around going on rides and rides and rides. Until we were so tired we had to leave. We didn't even eat dinner that night we all just went to bed. Oh well, still time well spent.
Day 5 - Last day in Barcelona :(
Spent well on the beach. Finally a day of relaxing by the sea, and on the sand. Really nice way to end this part of the trip. Spending it with both Tina and Michelle away from everything was definitely refreshing.
