I have to admit I can do a lot more reading than I already do. I haven't stopped hearing about 'The Fault in our Stars' since I last year. The book was on my 'to read list' for a while (it is quite a long list to be fair) and I decided it would be the book to read so I could understand the hype. The book is amazing. I read it last Christmas and as a reader, it takes me a long time to get into a book and to read it full stop. This book rejected my stereotype of reading slowly as I couldn't stop.

Once the film came out I had to watch it! Although I had loved the book I was wary of watching the film due to expectations being high and being worried that it would be overly cheesy. I thought that because I had read the book I would be less likely to cry. I was wrong. I cried so much. Even at 'okay'. Man... I watched it with friends who had read the book and a girl who hadn't. She cried the whole way through, so be warned.

The film is just as good as the book and portrays it correctly. The director did a great job and I would definitely see it again. Maybe this time on my own so I don't have to hide the fact that I'm crying....

Prom season is possibly one of the most stressful times of the year. The pressure for girls to acquire a prom date and to find the perfect dress... I can relate.

I'd like to let you all know that my prom wasn't the most easy going either. There was so much drama and gossip on which guy is asking which girl to prom.

When it came to me I really didn't expect to be asked to prom, but one of my friends asked and it just happened. I was really happy at the time because it was such a surprise.

I look so red and makeupless at prom but it's such a memory. I think the most important thing to remember is that things aren't perfect, and those are the things you remember most. Prom shouldn't be so stressful but it just is. Enjoy your youth and it will become a great memory.

It seems prom nowadays has evolved from big typical prom dresses and you may be able to see from my prom it had already started to change. If Topshop released a prom range at the time of my prom I would have definitely chosen one from there.

Floral prints are hardly ever seen at prom. This is great as it has a casual element but the bow at the back suggests it is a dress suited for the evening. The great thing about this dress is that you can still wear it when you're not at prom, so this dress sees more days than a one time occasion. I would wear this dress with converses if I could.

I am happy to announce that I finally have a job! It may only be an internship for 3 months but I am super excited to get into the 'real world' and do something useful to discover something that I might go into for the future.

My internship is at a company called Starworks Group. It is a communications company that works with many different clients such as ASOS, Givenchy, Adidas and so on.. I will be hopefully helping out with events and I will try to document the journey as I go.
