About 2 weeks ago I made a spontaneous trip back to Scarborough as I wasn't going to see my family and friends in the summer at all due to my internship. Firstly I went straight to York to meet Izzy, Michelle and Aya.

Lana Del Rey is such a beautiful, unique woman that when listening to her music I feel like I need a moment before I can fully appreciate her music. Her amazing vocal range topped with the most one of the most unique voices in music just pulls together her deep lyrics. Her new album Ultraviolence has a more chilled vibe than her previous album, Born to Die. I feel this is a more realistic portrayal of Lana's style.

I'm a university fresher so it's inevitable that I write about the amazing year I've had. This first year has been sooooooo crazy and fun, it's so unreal! I started off at the university so focused on doing well in terms of grades that I forgot about the experiences your suppose to have as a uni student. As the days went past, the I got closer to the people around me and I'm so grateful that I was put with such amazing flatmates! The people I've met have really made an impact and I am so glad to have met them. First year has been such a great experience!
