Kush had a meal planned for absolutely ages and it's the most organised my friends have ever been with meeting up, I love it! We dined at Cafe Rouge for dinner and walked around London Bridge afterwards. For those that had to catch the train left early. The rest of us ventured to Charring Cross to a place I can't remember the name of. Either way we had to leave early to catch the tube. It was lovely to see everyone, as it has been a long while. We all caught up and had a great night. Thanks Kush! And oh yeah I met Mark Francis and Victoria that day!

For the most I enjoy exploring things like museums and galleries alone. This is because I can go at my own pace, no one is rushing me and I just like to reflect on myself in these moments. So I had lunch and went out at my own pace, and it was the most relaxed I had felt in a while. I went to the National Gallery to see 'The Making of Colour' exhibition. In all honesty I do love looking at paintings and getting to know deeper meanings behind them, but this exhibition was purely based on how the colours were made using rocks and stones and how each colour payoff lasts. It was definitely interesting to know how they got colour in the past by grinding the stones into pigments and using yolk and oils to liquify it into paint. The most interesting part was learning how the gold cast was used before apply other colours.

As I still had time after, I went to The National Portrait Gallery next door. I went to look at the BP Portrait award candidates. The paintings here were so beautiful. It was so hard to pick a favourite. There were some that looked like photographs until you looked right up close. Portraits for me are so interesting as they tell a story of someone you don't know. Artists add details to a person to represent how they are seen. I love to imagine a background story to portraits. That's probably why I spend quite a long time looking at portraits.

This was my ootd:

So after spending the day alone, I needed some sort of contact with a human being so I decided to go with Jess and her cousins to Ministry of Sound. It was so amazing! We saw Nervo, and they are 2 of the best dj's ever! I was so obsessed with this! We danced all night and had such a great time. It was lovely to see Jess in the holidays before we go back to uni.

Such a great night! I wish more of my friends could make it but I was in great company.
Peace and Love!
