Day 1 7/10/15
Whilst I spend my day indoors thinking about my Florida trip it makes me feel sad that 3 weeks ago I was in there with my International Crew. We set up our playlist with much difficulty and as I listen to good old Wagon Wheel it really brings me back to the sun and the road. Due to Hurricane Joachim we decided to set off for our trip a couple of days earlier. Kaitlyn and I celebrated with excitement by eating an ice cream, a frozen yoghurt and an infinite amount of crisps before realising that we were going on a trip with guys that look like they've been taken straight out a Holister catalogue. So we did about 3 sit ups to compensate. Despite losing a member of the Pussy Wagon we trudged onwards to Okefenokee. Bloody hell i dont think i will ever be able to spell that without looking it up first. The boat tour around the swamps was so beautiful. We saw alligators and the tour guide had the most interesting stories to tell.
'Splitting up' for dinner meant all of us end up driving to a Seafood and Steak place where the staff are so overwhelmed with the amount of people that turned up. We couldn't tip them enough. Despite the option of seafood and steak, I had chicken which made me so full after 2 of about 20 pieces. America.
Day 2 810/15
We start the day by going to Devil's Den, a cave that allows you to go underwater and swim with the lack of fishes. It was still a great experience and the cave was so beautiful, but it wasn't as big as expected and there weren't many fishes at all. After that short visit, we went to Clearwater beach which had the softest and whitest sand I've ever seen. It was such a nice and relaxing day and after, we had an inviting meal at Hooters. Then we went out in Tampa and I had such a good night but looking back at the pictures, it looks like the shadiest place I've ever been to. I was completely oblivious to the people around me.... Also, I never want to take pictures in my bikini with previously mentioned guys staring at me again.... It wasn't a great experience for any of us.
Not gonna lie, can't remember much of what we did this day apart from go to this great Asian buffet that had so much yummy food. We then ventured to the city of Orlando where there wasn't too much going on but the lake at sunset was really beautiful. There were so many people having photoshoots there and I had my fair share of sitting in duck poo.
Day 4 10/10/15
DISNEY. Just a magical place really.
When we set of this is what the sky looked like.
We had to do the classic and get the minnie ears. I tried to channel my inner HeyClaire for this day as she looked so good at Disney. Got my wing eyeliner on but not as on fleek as Claire.
As we got separated from the rest of the group at dinner I got to converse with Rene and Ciara who I haven't spoken to much and it was such a funny meal.
Then afterward we went to the beach again and just chilled a bit before heading home.
This is definitely one of the best trips I've ever been on with the best people. I can't wait to do more with these people and make the best memories, continuing with how we are now.
