As the title suggests, Halloween is taken very seriously and is spread across the week, so yes, you've guessed, many costumes had to be thought out and executed. When I say there was a struggle to get costumes, let me tell you it was a REAL struggle. We went to a costume shop in 5 points and it was so overwhelming and so overpriced that the experience got to the best of us and we questioning things that we were never gonna get. Honestly it was so stressful. Luckily I had already thought out two simple costumes - Janet Snakehole (from Parks and Recreations) and Mia Wallace (from Pulp Fiction). The last costume I wore relied heavily on what I already had so I went as half dead Minnie Mouse, combining possibly the two most popular costumes of the week.

This was the day where Bert Macklin and Janet Snakehole hit 5 points. That night we were informed that someone went as Mouse Rat and we searched far and wide for him but we were left disappointed. The range of costumes went from hippies to a bear and the three scouts that capture it. We ended the night with a Charlie Pitts receiving dollar bills in his headband like a classic Roman stripper would.

Andrea's birthday took us to The Hub where there was yet another international house party. There was Red Riding Hood, Mia Wallace, Elf, nerds etc. This was a night of negotiations as I talked with the bouncers that I had in fact been there all night, they eventually let me in to a half empty bar with someone on our Renaenae who we cussed out on a video...oops.... I also had to be the middle man to a modern day romance where lovers were separated and eventually reunited with the help of a sandwich chain called Subway.

So this is actually Halloween, whilst everyone wore their best outfits, I scraped off the remaining items off my floor and went as dead Minnie Mouse. This was a good night where we all stuck together and had a good night regardless of where we were and we just enjoyed each other's company. Classic end to the night with all of us ending at Eddie's calzones and a poor Jess Crabbe being victimised by T- Mobile due to a lousy top up, honestly Eddie's give the girl a break.

Costume Winner of the Week goes to Sam Somerville for going as - a hippie, Elf and his signature, a giraffe. And bonus points for not spending a single dollar on those costumes.
