I Really Do Adore You
20:05
I don't want to go to class, I don't want to write about Miami yet but that post will come soon, so I'm coming back atcha with a favourite songs post. These songs have been here for a while but I had other things to write about so they got pushed back, I still love these songs nonetheless! I apologise in advance for the lack of actual videos because I couldn't find them on Youtube.
Nao - Adore You
She just has the most beautiful voice and such a high range. I remember when I was in Les Mis as Cosette and she had the biggest range and it was just so difficult. Nao makes it sound effortless, she can do it on one line and it's just captivating. This is actually a recommendation from my dad so shoutout to dad for keeping me up to date.
Drake - Right Hand
Damn Drake, back at it again with another tune. It's just another song that sounds very Drake, he has his stamp on it and I wouldn't ever change that.
Rihanna - Close to You
I think this is my favourite song on the album. It's the slowest song on the album and I think I like it because recently I haven't heard something like this in a long time. It's very 'take a bow' and 'unfaithful' and it makes me think back to her earlier days. I can't wait to see her in the summer!
All About She - I Can't wait
Just a really chilled summer vibes kinda song. This is one of those songs that I always hear and like but it's got a particular style that's similar to a lot of songs that I like, although this one does stand out to me amongst the other ones and I'm not really sure why.
Digital Farm Animals - Didn't know
I love this song because it combines an hip hop voice with the kind of music I usually listen to. The video is a bit random but she's nice to look at. I think I'm going to look at more Digital Farm Animal songs because I really enjoy this kind of sound, it feels new.
J.Cole, Miguel - Power Trip
This is an old one but a new discovery. I have only really recently started listening to J.Cole and I'm really like it. I've found discover weekly on Spotify and they give me the best songs to listen to and I'm glad they include old songs otherwise this would have skipped right past me.
Crookers, Jeremih - I Just Cant
I just love this song and I'm really sad that Spotify has taken it down recently. It was the song I always walked to class to cause it made me feel like a boss.
Twenty One Pilots - Ride
I don't know if it's good or bad that arseholes listen to good music because this song has been stuck in my head for a long time. It's actually a really good song, and after hearing that 'stressed out' is also by them, I'm quite happy to go back and listen to their other music. Their look reminds me of mine back in scene kid phases.
Phlake - So Faded
Every time I listen to this song I think, wow I really like this song I'm gonna put it in my post and then I realise it's the same song. I'm not really sure if that's a good thing or not but each time I listen to it is like the first time and I fall in love with it each time.
Kieran Alleyne - Comfortable
I've found a song that I would love to be a DJ for a bit and mix together. Would sound so good, but I don't know how to do that. The other song will be featured in the next songs of the week post. Other than that I find this song so easy to listen to.
Zendaya - Something New
I find Zendaya is such a good role model. She's such a down to earth girl and seems like such a normal person. Of course famous people are people too but she doesn't act up to it. I have her on snapchat and she seems so chilled. This song is a great first song but I'd like to see her do more, it would be interesting to see what direction she goes into.
The 1975 - This Must be My Dream, She's American
These are my favourite songs from the new album, I feel like I don't think I could ever dislike The 1975. Whenever I listen to a new song or album of their's I'm not really sure how I feel, but the more I listen I eventually love it. These are exceptions, I liked them as soon as I heard them. Such good catchy songs that The 1975 are known for.
