Football (American football) is such a big thing in America. As an international, it becomes apparent that football is a massive part of the American life. The whole day is set aside and everywhere you turn you can see the colours of red, black and white, the colours of our team. The band are constantly practising songs during the week in order to prepare for performance at half time. I have been to two home games now and they have been different to each other.

Going to and from class and even when I'm getting ready I listen to a lot of music and it's not a particular genre. I thought it would be nice to share what songs I'm enjoying during the week and you may like to see or maybe discover new songs and artists from this process.


Disclosure - Omen ft Sam Smith

Disclosure are two of my all time favourite musicians. Their album Settle is one of my top ten albums of all time and their new music continues to satisfy my ears. With the addition of Sam Smiths vocals, this record brings light and life to my walk and makes me want to dance my way to class.

Leading onto my last post for second year, some are soon to be returning for their third and some may even just be beginning. I miss being in Canterbury, coming home to my housemates watching trash shows like 'My Five Wives' or having a civilised evening painting, drinking wine and watching 'Ex on the Beach'. Some say that it's hard to live with friends but for me it was the best experience, being so close and so comfortable with each other. So here I present the last term of second year with the best people and hope that I am able to do it all again next year.


City Sound Project is a festival style setting where different artists play at different venues. My friend Maggie Akintayo is a spoken word artist and everytime I watch her perform I want to cry, she is so amazing.
